Clamber Buggy Bag
1 - Communicate!
This process begins with you reaching out to us, either through email on the Contact page or on Instagram. We will connect your order with your messages and template, and any questions will be directed back to you. Before work begins, a spec sheet including materials, colors, rough dimensions, and cost estimate will be provided in writing.
2 - Outline
With a piece of cardboard larger than the desired size of the bag, tape it to the frame. From the other side of the frame, using a black sharpie, trace the inside of the frame with the sharpie at a right angle from the cardboard.
3 - Cut and Check
Cut out the black line and insert the shape into the frame. It should fit very close to the frame all the way around. Significant gaps could result in the final bag not fitting correctly, so make sure this fit is tight. Redo if necessary, as this is what we will use to check size of the bag.
4 - Mark Obstructions
With the cutout in the frame, mark obstructions that would block a hose clamp/zip tie/velcro strap mount: body panel tabs, fire extinguishers, other frame tubes. Odd shapes (not triangles or rectangles, cutouts) should be marked clearly.
5 - Mark Mounting Locations
With the sharpie, mark your preferred mounting locations. As a rule of thumb, use at least 2 mounts for each 6" of length on each side, with at least 2 and rounding up. Mounting can be accomplished with either a hose clamp, zip ties, or velcro straps (we only provide velcro straps). If velcro straps are preferred, measure tube circumferences so we can make them long enough.
6 - Photos
With a ruler/yardstick touching/attached to the frame for scale, take photos with the template in the frame. Stand back 10-20' for context.
7 - Send to DI Gear
Once we have your dimensions, material choices, and other requirements (pockets, zippers, MOLLE panels, etc) we will request final approval and then begin work. All orders must be paid in full before work begins.
